5th Annual Escape to Elsinore Boogie

April 3-5, 2009 (although some will go as early as the 1st and come back on the 6th)
Location: Skydive Elsinore

It's about the time of year when we are all itching for some nice, sunny weather (or perhaps it's past that time!). This mini-boogie originally was started as a way to introduce our local jumpers to Skydive Elsinore, an amazing drop zone full of fun and great people. The boogie has gotten bigger and better every year. Elsinore has expanded the event this year and is making this their first annual Hilarity Boogie.The event will include Gravity Games; a freefly skills camp (must pre-register through Skydive Elsinore); a costume party Saturday night with the theme of Movie Hilarity; and an Excel Basic camp on Sunday.

Hotel Rooms: 20 rooms at the Lake Elsinore Casino have already been reserved. Cost is $55 + tax per night. Each room has 2 queen beds, and they have a nice pool and hot tub. If you want to share a room, let Deb know (contact info below).

Wind Tunnel: 2 hours have been reserved for Friday morning at the wind tunnel at Perris, and we can book more if there is interest. Cost is $275 for 15 minutes of coached tunnel time. These blocks can NOT be split; however, if a bunch of people just want to go play in the tunnel, we can book a block of time. If you are interested, let Deb know.

Flights: Ontario is the closest airport, followed by Orange County (also called John Wayne or Santa Ana). There are some cheap flights into Los Angeles, but it's a long drive so plan accordingly. You are responsible for booking your own airfare and car rental.
