Debrief
There were approximately 28 people in attendance at the February general membership meeting. Most participated in the Whirly Ball event that followed, and it was a lot of fun, with positive feedback from members.
There were approximately 20 participants at the video event, and a great deal of positive feedback and interest to have more events like this.
Financial Update
Discussed pre-approving projected expenses, including costs associated with general membership meetings, Safety Day, Al Zilk meet, etc. Carrie made a list to present and vote on at the next general membership meeting.
Discussed and agreed to renew CD.
Discussed revenue-generating ideas, including a monthly raffle. Created list of possible donations, including:
Membership Update
It was agreed to officially recognize and welcome new members at the start of general membership meetings.
SSD Calendar
April created a "Calendar of Events" flier to post at Skydive Snohomish. Carrie will send a list of upcoming events to April each month to continue this.
Current Events/Items
It was agreed to have "Cecil's crepes" at the Safety Day Breakfast.
April reviewed the cover letter for the Welcome Packet. Erin reviewed the options and prices for the helmet sticker. Carolyn will send to Erin a hybrid silouhette for the sticker.
Erin will research colors for pull up cords and ink.
March Club Mtg
It was agreed to hold the next general membership meeting at Sunset Bowl in Ballard. Carrie to contact Sunset Bowl about meeting facilities, prices, etc.
Vacations
Board members compiled a list of planned vacations, so that each knows when the others will be out of town and unable to attend meetings, events, etc.
Other items
April suggested adding "Volunteer of the Year" to line-up of SSD awards. It was agreed to announce this at the next general membership meeting.
It was agreed that each board member would research two places to hold this year's holiday party.
