Seattle Skydivers

I'm officially a member of the Seattle Skydivers Association, and I'm finally on Solo status! It's been a long winter of trying to get this far, and I have to say it was a long time coming. But February 17th was a good day. I did 4 jumps that day with Neil (three of which were from full altitude for the first time) and I had my solo briefing that night. On top of all that, I had my first "beer at the dropzone" that day.

 The last jump of the day that day was a big one, in that the winds came up very strong and blew us way north. I wasn't able to make it back to east field, so I landed way out in a corn field. A farmer saw me land and was kind enough to give me a ride back to the bus.

Yup, this skydiving stuff... it's pretty cool. I think I'll stick with it.

Next jump is the first time from the caravan!!! Hell Yeah!
