Unfinished Business
- Scholarships: 2-3 for members who cannot afford to join. We discussed how to best handle this. We will ask the membership to approve a process where people submit names and reasons to the board and the approval will be to the board's discretion.
- Membership renewals: notice went out this morning.
- Skydiver lounge: The committee is meeting tomorrow and will report at the membership meeting.
- Club flyer: It is now in the student packages at Skydive Snohomish.
Events
- John Hamilton: The dates he will be here are most likely changing and we may not end up doing anything as a club. The on-line survey results:
- 21 people responded
- 18 (86%) said they would support paying up to $500 for the two days
- 15 (71%) said they would be interested in ground coaching
- 16 (76%) said they would participate in RW seminars
- Ben Boogie: Tim is putting info together to present to the membership.
- Other Events: Need to schedule Gonna Be Day and 6 Way Scrambles.
- Scott Watkins is planning a Hybrid Day, see newsletter this month for details.
New Business
- Should we hold a meeting in July or change the date? Ask membership.
- Pacific Science Center contacted the club. Their annual fundraiser is coming up and the theme is "Risk". They asked us to participate. One idea they had was for us to bring skydiving gear for folks to try on. They are also having an auction so maybe we should donate a tandem jump.
Meeting adjourned.
Respectfully submitted,
