Unfinished Business:

  • A huge thank you to Deb Correia for all your hard work last year as president. You are priceless.
  • T-shirt order needs to be replenished. Cindy Kew volunteered to handle the T-shirt orders.

New Business:

  • Five Committees
    • Safety - Charlie Markin
    • Events - Rob and April Neal
    • Membership - Tom Phillips and Deb Correia
    • Communication - Bryan Jones
    • By Laws - Christine Daniels
  • Questions, comments, etc. mail to board@seattleskydivers.org, and your mail will automatically go to ALL board members. We strongly encourage members to make use of this anytime they have something to share!
  • Christmas Party Survey
There were many positive comments. A concern shared was the $25 cost. Could this cost be reduced? How is that money used? 24 responses
  • Online membership renewal may be available. The cost is approximately $1.25 which will be added for online renewal. There is always the option of paying Charlie directly.
  • The Gallery on our website is getting big! We may need to split the site into two parts: 1) gallery with pictures 2) letters and minutes etc. This is not an issue of capacity but more of management.
Cost: $5.00 per month or $60.00 per year. Charlie moved to make this happen and Bill seconded the motion.
  • Drop Box at the DZ? It was suggested that a box be placed at the dropzone for comments, questions, renewals etc. Eugene took on the task to begin setting this up.
  • Next year - 2006!
Two committees have only 2 board members. Please join in and make this your group. There needs to be tons of support for Seattle Skydivers to be a success. Events and Membership are interconnected.
