  • Holiday Party
    • Survey next week
      1. Some people feel uncomfortable with the fact that members are free and non-members are $25.
      2. There was a mention of different venues as opposed to using Building #15.
      3. Some want a good price for dinner and a free place to hold the party. Last year’s survey said 80% that the food was good and 75% thought the location was good.
      4. Going someplace else will increase the cost at least $10-15. Space costs money.
      5. How late can the building stay open? Maybe clean-up can be the next day?
      6. Should we have a partial fee for members? Or should we keep the price the same but better inform all the other skydivers about membership.
      7. Survey issues:

  • Tandems
    • Testimonials in place at this time. Once a month a testimonial is picked and that winner gets a free tandem.
    • Make a Wish Sponsors
    • Bill Kelly suggested we start a sponsorship for a new tandem student. This student would need to be serious about getting licensed. We could help support them with purchasing a container, reserve, canopy, helmet and/or helmet. This promotes skydiving as a sport. Bill will talk with Tyson and Elaine about this idea.

  • 8th World Pop’s Competition at Eloy on October 7
  • End of the Year Video-Tommy Phillips needs video footage. Anyone out there that has some exciting, fun stuff please talk with Tommy. It’s great to get a variety of footage such as free flying, belly flying, students, dirt dives, silly ground stuff, packers, parties etc.
