Many wild skydiver comments which are inappropriate for professional meeting notes. Use your imagination.
- Suggestions: Let’s Brainstorm!
- late night may eliminate Building 15 Ask management if we may stay late if clean up occurs that night or next morning. Pick up big trash that night and mop etc. the next day.
- Would having it somewhere else bring in more people? It certainly would not be cheaper. We use Building 15 free of charge.
- The issue seems to be at Harvey Field or not at Harvey Field? It’s about money. Will skydivers spend money to go somewhere else? It seems skydivers will not. The survey indicates that cheaper is better.
- Decision: Building 15 Potluck Late 1pm. Clean up the next morning.
- Members and non-members bring food. The BBQ will be set up. Seattle Skydivers approved $300 be spent on non-alcoholic drinks, a few plates of appetizers, charcoal, condiments and paper products.
- Everyone will bring their own meat to BBQ. Bill Kelly will get the liquor license. B.Y.O.B.
- Date has not been set but start time will be a Friday at 7pm or Saturday at 6pm.
- Order of events: USPA awards, SS awards, social, and then video. Nominations for awards will be done online. Bryan Jones will set this up.
- Scholarships: We would like to provide a scholarship to a new student. Tyson and Elaine Harvey approved $300 will be reimbursed back to Seattle Skydivers after the student is licensed. We need to run the numbers to see how much it will cost Seattle Skydivers to sponsor someone (possible items - used container, used canopy, altimeter, helmet, gloves etc.)
